Device-mapper Roadmap – Targets

• Allow changes made to a writeable snapshot to be merged back into its read-only origin

• Fix a theoretical race that would cause a data leak from a change to the origin to its snapshot

• Improve performance and resiliance of mirror target: read-balancing, handling failing devices automatically etc.

• Support slow mirror devices asynchronously

• Fix mirror log format to handle large sectors
