Ok need some terminology here. What the dweebs in the arena are doing isn't really anything I would call B&Z. More like dive and run. Boom and Zoom implies a much more agressive stance where you are attacking with a speed advantage to negate tighter turning radi of the slower plane. If I am doing a b&z pass Ill come in, try to force a turn, go vertical staying out of gun range till he either loses it, commits to a direction, or tries to dive out and go back in. To be a true (imo) b&z you must remain with a distance that makes you a constant threat to get your guns on him the minute he tries to ignore you. If you extend 3k+ out they guy that you just attacked can pretty much do whatever he wants and have time to turn into you before you return. Like all things AW that is not a definate and changes with person and circumstance, butI think as other post there views on what "B&Z" is you will find that in its true form its a fairly aggressive posture. The dweebs in the arena are about as agressive as jackels. Dangerous if you are wounded or severly outnumbered, but in consequential in any relatively even situation. DD
