About

These are some experimental SCIM package repos for Fedora Core. The main scim packages are now in Fedora Core (FC5) and Fedora Extras (FC3 and FC4). Please do not report any problems related to packages here to Red Hat bugzilla: they are unsupported, but you can report problems to petersen@redhat.com.

- 2006-02-26: removed some more packages now in Extras. old fedora repos are now gone, renamed to Experimental and moved to testing/.

- 2005-07-12: scim-1.3.3 and scim-qtimm-0.9.2

- 2005-07-01: scim-1.3.2, scim-skk-0.3.0, honoka-0.3.0

- 2005-06-29: updated scim-anthy to 0.5.0

- 2005-06-21: updated testing/4/x86_64 to scim-1.3.1

- 2005-06-20: updated testing/4/i386 to scim-1.3.1

- 2005-06-17: repositories announced

Fedora configuration

yum

It is assumed that yum is already configured for Fedora Extras.

To use with yum, add the following to the file "/etc/yum.conf" or say "/etc/yum.repos.d/scim.repo".

up2date

To use the yum repository with up2date and/or have the rhn_applet show updates, add also the following line to "/etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources".
repomd scim http://people.redhat.com/petersen/scim/
