The First Annual, Unofficial Red Hat - Republic of Tullahoma Company Picnic and Regatta (FAURHROTCPAR)

On Saturday (18 AUG 2001), The First Annual, Unofficial Red Hat - Republic of Tullahoma Company Picnic and Regatta was held at scenic Amacher Park[1], just minutes away from beautiful, historic downtown Winchester. Much time was spent in preparation[2] and a splendid time was had by all. The gala event enjoyed 100% attendance of the office staff[3] and their families. Exciting activities[4] and a wonderful buffet were provided by the participants. Other activities included a scenic nature walk[5] and a tour of the (soon to be completed) Amacher Manor[6]. An impromptu stroller race was organized, but officials called the race due to inclement track conditions. The activities culminated in a whitewater expedition to view a breathtaking waterfall[7].

We, the Red Hat Associates of the Republic of Tullahoma, would like to thank everyone who participated in this event for helping to make it an overwhelming success.
