Using thin provisioning - specifying sizes

• There are two sorts of sizes

• Physical size i.e. the size of the pool
• --extents or -l
• Absolute number of extents e.g. -l100
• Percentage of existing VG size or free space e.g. -l20%FREE -l50%VG
• --size or -L
• Absolute size e.g. -L10G
• Virtual size of the Logical Volume
• --virtualsize or -V e.g. -V100G
