This page archives some documents related to a shared runtime system. The documents are a bit out-of-date now, with new changes recently, such as advances in Mono and gcj development. But they are probably still interesting documents.

Note that these are meant to be personal/technical documents, not any kind of policy statement from any open source project or company. They were meant to start a conversation not end it.
