Beginning Monday, October 28, 2002, all pilots must carry photo identification
along with their FAA pilot certificate during flight operations. In a Federal
Register release today (October 24), the FAA issued a final rule (Docket No.
FAA-2002-11666) that changes Federal Aviation Regulation 61.3, Pilot
Identification Requirements
