The image shows four instances of the same test application. On the left
using standard fonts, on the right using XFT. The apps on top are using
openmotif without the 1517 patch. The apps in the bottom are using
openmotif with the patch applied; here you can see that the background
color is drawn beyond the border of the LabelGadgets.

If you have a look at the text in LabelGadgets on the right (using XFT),
you can see that the text is too long. This has been fixed by the 1521
patch.
